The place was clean and well‑situated, yet the manager didn't speak English and had to call someone else who took a commission, tried to sell you a car at an exorbitant price, and pressured the guides you met on the Ellora site.

The host was fantastic and made sure I felt at home; the room was huge and the outside seating offered a lovely view. Walking to the caves takes about 20 minutes, which is doable, but the streets are pretty dirty and dusty, which was a bit disappointing. Still, I’d stay here again.

It was an excellent family stay: clean, spacious rooms, courteous staff, a beautiful setting, and a peaceful vibe—perfect for a memorable family trip. I highly recommend it! Everything was good here.
