Located in a 400-year-old historic building, Hotel Adler in Rudolstadt offers free WiFi and classically decorated rooms with flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms. The beds were good and the breakfast was excellent for the price. The shower was slippery and quite high, so people with mobility issues should avoid it; otherwise the hotel was fine.

Breakfast was excellent, and there was a coffee machine. The location in the city center is superb, parking is available in the courtyard, and the attached restaurant is highly recommended. The hotel itself is historic with an appealing atmosphere.

We’ve stayed here several times. The spot right by the market is fantastic, the rooms are clean and tidy, and we noticed some modern upgrades. We always feel comfortable here and will likely return next year.
