“Perfect getaway to chillax”

The location is excellent—close to town yet feels like a world away, perfect for a quick recharge; this was our fourth visit, which says it all. No complaints, just great weather, haha.

Everything was nice and peaceful, with eggs and Vogel bread ready for a quick breakfast; it was amazing and I’ll definitely book again.

“Havre de paix au milieu des moutons”

A delicious stay in this secluded cottage, ideal for a break and recharge amid fields and sheep; easily reachable and 30 min from Auckland. The house is fully comfortable, the bed is cozy, the bath is a delight, and everything for a tasty local breakfast. Many thoughtful touches were much appreciated. The whole neighborhood had a power outage, and the owner was super responsive to help and answer questions. Small improvements are needed due to regular use: some corners could use extra cleaning—old spider webs above the bed, dust and dirt when moving a chair or kitchen equipment—and some appliances were non‑functional, though I’m sure they’ll be fixed soon.

“Very convenient for the airport.”

The towels were lovely and the bedroom super comfy, but the open kitchen shelves and the poorly kept outdoor area made the otherwise nice spot feel a touch shabby.
