The apartment was in a convenient area, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable with blackout curtains that kept the room cool. The only drawback was the kitchen gear – there was no coffee maker and the microwave wouldn’t heat anything, so I couldn’t even make a quick tea or warm a frozen lasagna. On top of that, some renovation work on the floor sent dust and a bit of noise our way, but that wasn’t the host’s fault.

The room offered a good amount of space and felt comfortable enough for a short stay. Unfortunately, the floor was under construction, so daytime noise and a lot of dust in the hallway made it a bit unpleasant.

I loved the room – it had a fridge, air‑conditioning, TV and was very comfortable, so it felt fully equipped for my needs. The problem was the ongoing renovation: the hallway was covered in cardboard, paint fumes and dust were everywhere, and early‑morning noise made it hard for my allergies and sleep. I wish I’d been warned beforehand; I ended up having to take medication just to get through the day.

The place was roomy and gave me plenty of space for my luggage, but I was surprised to find there was no face towel provided.
