Perched at 2,004 m, Noc na Chopku, Rotunda provides ski‑to‑door access in winter and direct summer hiking trails. The property features two deluxe rooms and a family suite, each with modern décor, balconies overlooking the mountains, flat‑screen TVs, minibars and private showers. Guests dine on regional and international cuisine on a panoramic terrace. Complimentary cable‑car tickets and free parking at Biela Púť (north) or Krupová (south) complete the experience.

Last night I was disappointed: the dinner was only good, even though the accommodation, location and staff were great and breakfast lived up to expectations again.

The food, cleanliness, and service were all very good, and the place itself was special; the hotel has only three rooms, so in the morning and evening it feels like you’re the only one on the mountain until after 8 pm when the first tourists arrive. The extra experience was nice. On the downside, the transport arrangement to the hotel was poorly organized: we were told via email that we’d have to wait at the entrance to the parking lot for staff to pick us up, but no one showed up; we just had to wait with other guests who received the same notice. We could have just waited at the entrance.
