The host was extremely friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere in the guesthouse was very relaxed. The southern location is beautiful, and you can reach the city centre easily by bus or on foot. I did see cockroaches in the kitchen, but I guess they’re hard to avoid in summer.
The host is absolutely amazing! He helped me a lot with planning what to do and how to get to the islands. The hostel has a cozy vibe and is equipped with everything you could need. The location is also convenient. If you have large bags and all the beds are taken, there isn’t much space to put your stuff—only a small locker. I also saw a cockroach in my room, and although the owner was very nice about it and sprayed the room immediately, I found a few more in the bathroom and one even appeared in the kitchen sink.

The breakfasts felt like family meals, and he gave excellent suggestions for activities and restaurants. If you have any questions, just ask him. The location is close to the cable car and the Skyline Luge, two must‑do attractions in Tongyeong. The house is very comfortable, with a hair dryer, toiletries, and a usable kitchen. There were lockers in the bedroom. The mattress, however, was too firm for my liking.
