No positives. The address was wrong and the place was double‑booked, so we ended up in a second flat that was in awful condition; the owner was rude and indifferent, and getting a refund was a nightmare.

“Threating Crooks”

The location was fine if the address were correct, but the place was not where it said it was. I was asked to send a bank payment to a staff member who confirmed the details, yet the next day they claimed the money never arrived, threatened me with “men” to throw me out, and had already taken my luggage, passports, and laptops while we were away. I had to pay another card charge that night to retrieve my stuff, and they promised a refund once the funds cleared, but now they refuse to pay back, leaving me out of pocket and feeling unsafe with my young daughter.

“Need my refund . Unfair treatment and lies”

Nothing I liked, honestly. The staff acted like puppets following bad orders from the owner, who lied and advertised false claims. We were charged 6k but told to pay 10k on arrival directly to his account. Swimming was forbidden, the microwave was broken, the shower door was damaged, and we had to sleep in the kids’ bedroom because our room was supposedly taken. It was unfair, especially since Cape Town was full; we were forced to stay in poor conditions with no chance to step outside because dogs waited by the doorstep.
