Nestled on Loch Lomond’s edge, Gowanlea Guest House offers 4‑star comfort within a 30‑minute drive of Glasgow Airport. Traditional décor, flat‑screen TVs, free toiletries, and tea/coffee facilities adorn each room. Guests enjoy a locally sourced cooked breakfast, continental or vegetarian options, and free Wi‑Fi. Balloch’s castle, Go Ape, and fishing are a five‑minute walk away, with free parking.

The host was very kind. Breakfast was delicious with a wide selection. Everything was very clean, with suitable and useful equipment. The beds were very comfortable.

Very comfortable and friendly. Great breakfast. The only downside was the lack of power points; it was cold in the morning, especially when you wanted a shower.

Stayed one night and accommodation clean and had everything you needed. Both host welcoming and present. Breakfast was very good and even made sausages for our dogs. Nothing
