Despite a few weather hiccups, Cristina was amazing, always ready to help and gave excellent restaurant suggestions that we mostly followed.

“Großes Zimmer mit nettem Host und guter Lage”

The spot was excellent, the host was very friendly, accommodating and helpful, the room was spacious and air‑conditioned, the bathroom was roomy, the roof terrace offered a beautiful view over Mindelo and the sea, the balcony was nice and large, and the resident dog was sweet and friendly. However, the room was very noisy because the windows weren’t airtight, the bed was hard, the breakfast left a lot to be desired in both quantity and variety, there were ants in the room, and power outages occurred fairly often both during the day and at night, though they were usually brief.

The place was gorgeous and cozy, the breakfasts were tasty and plentiful, the rooftop terrace was perfect for enjoying the view of Mindelo, Cristina was one of the friendliest people we’ve met and her dog added to the charm, and because we had an early flight the next day she kindly prepared a breakfast to take with us.

The location is great, just 10 m on foot from the center and close to several excellent restaurants with typical cuisine. Our host was very friendly and helpful and always available to arrange activities for us, both in S. Vicente and in Santo Antão, always at more reasonable prices than agencies.

Nice location, we had a beautiful view from our room, also a nice rooftop. We enjoyed it, but be comfortable with dogs as the owner’s dog tends to follow you everywhere in town 😅
