Hotel Elena, a family‑run boutique property in Stresa’s historic centre, sits just 100 m from ferries to the Borromean Islands and 200 m from the beach. Rooms feature LCD TVs, private bathrooms, minibars, safes, and many overlook Piazza Cadorna. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet, an outdoor veranda bar, and easy access to the Mottarone cable car and Stresa train station.

The location is outstanding, right in the city center on a lively square where you can hear music from the balcony at night. The owner speaks French and explains the city’s parking options. The pier is very close. The room is decent, with a fridge that’s very handy. It would be nice to have a more flexible shower—there’s only a ceiling‑mounted water supply (umbrella shower).

Lokalizacja w samym centrum miasta, blisko miejsca skąd odpływają promy. Czysty, wygodny pokój z balkonem wychodzącym na stare miasto. Wygodne łóżko. Sympatyczny personel. Hotel znajduje się w centrum, więc wieczorem należy liczyć się z tym, że będzie głośno. Ale przy takiej lokalizacji nie jest to duża niedogodność
