We liked the large, comfortable room and the parking cost £6. The breakfast was friendly and the restaurant options were great. The only downside was the sweet machines in the lobby, and there was only one coffee machine in the breakfast room.

“Not good for families and disgraceful parking system.”

The location was okay, but be warned about their private car‑park system: if your car registration plate isn’t entered correctly, you’ll get a fine of 68 GBP per day from the private car‑park, which you must appeal separately, plus an additional guaranteed 68 GBP admin fee from your car rental for processing a parking fine you can’t contest. The hotel cancelled the parking fines, but we still had to pay 500 GBP to the car rental because of this error. The hotel had charged us in advance for the parking fee but didn’t properly check if our car was registered, and no reward or refund was given—disgraceful. Also, once you book your stay (without cancellation) you receive a message saying there are no lifts, and we had to walk up three floors with six pieces of luggage and three young kids—no good for families. Never again.
