“Italy on a motorbike”

We had stayed here before heading to the Aeolian Islands and came back for another night. The owner had the room ready when we arrived off the ferry in the afternoon, and he even stored our luggage in the room for us. It was a different room from the one we used before the trip, but it matched the quality of the previous one and added a sink and hob—handy if you need to cook when other places are closed. The room was very comfortable, with a sofa, and Rakel Home is ideal for Milazzo and the ferry to the islands. We received breakfast vouchers for a local café, and the room was quiet and modern, giving me the best sleep. All the details were sent via WhatsApp beforehand, which made everything clear and easy. Nothing to dislike.

Getting to the building was a breeze, and the owner sent us all the info beforehand via WhatsApp. We left our motorbike parked there while we went to the Aeolian Islands for two days, and it was both convenient and safe. The whole place felt secure, and the room itself was modern, comfy, and quiet—perfect for catching the ferry. We also received breakfast vouchers for a local café. The super‑soft embroidered towels were a real luxury, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Everything you could possibly need was right there. Nothing to complain about.

Access was very simple and self‑service. The private, secure parking was very comfortable. The kids were still upset about the light and music in the shower! It’s just a stone’s throw from the port, perfect for heading to the Aeolian Islands. Breakfast was Italian, served in the nearby bar.
