Everything was fine and there were no issues at all.

The room felt tighter than I expected, almost as if the bed occupied the whole space.

The staff were very friendly and offered every possible comfort, including free breakfast, extra pillows on demand, toothbrushes, combs, elastic bands, etc. The room was a bit small and we struggled to open our suitcases inside.

I’m a repeat guest; at breakfast you can have up to two onigiri, while the assorted instant miso soups and coffee are unlimited (morning only). Even if you only stay for the night, you can freely take body towels, a toothbrush and a gown from the front desk and pick the pillow you prefer. The only thing keeping me from a perfect score is that the building feels a bit dated, and the nearest convenience store is a short 600‑metre walk away.
