Everyone was super friendly, the eco‑stay setup was very interesting, and the kitchen was well equipped.

The couple running the surfhouse were super friendly, and the site was beautiful right in nature with beach access; the only downside was that there were no suitable surfboards for tall people (190+), and the policy that customers must pay $25 when a leash breaks was annoying. Leashes should hold, especially in smooth waves, so a broken leash likely means poor maintenance or an old leash, and the customer should not be penalised. The boards, however, can break if the user is careless.
