Hotel Hampi International

“Rude staff and mediocre experience”

The rooms were spacious, but the service was terrible: staff were inefficient, rude, and wouldn't bring ice unless you ordered liquor from their bar, which you can't do otherwise. For the price of the Suite, there was no hot water and no bathtub as shown in the gallery, so I will never stay here again.

The hotel is on a lively street, the surroundings are a bit dull, but the staff are helpful for a short stay. However, you can't pay with international cards, the restaurant mainly serves Indian food, and even breakfast is limited to boiled eggs and bread.

“The hotel people are not friendly and the rooms are unclean and outdated.”

We arrived at the hotel only to find no staff to greet us, forcing us to lug our luggage ourselves while the security guard seemed utterly indifferent; the room smelled so badly that we couldn’t stay, with old beds, linens, cobwebs, and other detritus. The front‑desk staff, apparently advised by a room boy, assigned us a room that was outdated, unclean, and had a foul odor, with a toilet lacking even a shower curtain or cubicle.

The rooms were clean and orderly, and the staff were helpful; the location works well for visiting either Hampi or the TB Dam. However, the restaurant service was slow and tardy, though the food itself was good.

“Over all good”

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel’s central location is convenient; the pool is acceptable but could have been better.
