Great location, nice clean room, helpful host

The biggest advantage for us was staying with our dog, the garden, quiet, and the location. A short walk to a shop. Some things need fixing. The floor tiles on the path to the room are loose and crack when someone steps on them. The shower handle was loose and angled so water sprayed more into the corner. The main gate wouldn’t open at all.

We were the only guests, so the restaurant and bar were closed (apparently only open in peak season and on weekends when a full group is present). The owner stopped by when we texted him our arrival ("in 15 min."). The room is indeed very small, but two very comfortable sofa chairs and a fridge fit! The shower has plenty of hot water and is modern. The beds are under the roof with no windows, but at the foot of the bed the sofa chairs have a window and a door directly into the garden (with table and chairs, even with cushions). All in all, a lot made of little space. Most restaurants close early; we enjoyed an instant soup from the iron pantry. The access to our apartment was very tight around the house, but it works.
