The welcome from Nyoman was meticulous; he handled our driver and helped plan the trip to Agung Hotel, which is perfect for climbing Mount Agung. The setting is in the middle of the countryside with stunning rice fields.

Everything was great! The place is beautiful and tranquil, right in the heart of nature, and the host welcomed us warmly while arranging our transfers and the fantastic Mount Agung trek (not too hard if you’re used to walking, and the sunrise view is exceptional). We even got a massage before heading out! Nothing negative.

“Une vrai pépite en pleine nature !”

This place is a real gem and a sanctuary of peace. Hidden in the nature of Sallaca, you’ll meet the two charming owners, with whom you can chat for hours while enjoying a delicious breakfast in the morning—great way to start the day! The bamboo huts are very charming and clean, though you might spot a few insects since the venue is in the middle of nature; the rooms come equipped with ant spray and other pest control. The common area is also clean and proper. The huts have a small terrace with a table and a bench. The venue also offers massage service, which we didn’t use. Sallaca gives a more authentic Bali experience; you’ll encounter few tourists and within 5–10 minutes by scooter you’ll find plenty of beautiful rice fields that rival any other in Bali. Locals will happily greet you or chat. If I ever return to Bali, I’ll definitely go back to Sallaca and this place.

“Heel fijn verblijf!”

The cabin feels almost brand‑new and is equipped with nearly every convenience. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our sons enjoyed playing in the water. There’s a dining area. We had a wonderful massage. The host can arrange tours and transfers. The only thing you should know beforehand is that there are no restaurants or shops nearby.

“Parfait 👌🏻👌🏻”

The venue sits in the heart of nature, the accommodation is spotless, and it’s just steps from Mount Agung—perfect for the climb. Meals can be had on site. The hosts are gold‑mined people: absolutely kind, attentive, caring, friendly, and accommodating. I’ll gladly come back.
