We appreciated the receptionist’s help with small details around the property, arranging transport, stocking the fridge, and sharing local information; there’s a juice bar and general store, a nearby local breakfast spot, UPI payments work, Swiggy is available, and overall the stay was comfortable and pleasant. They also connected us with local tour operators for mangrove tours, etc. The only downside was that room service stops after the morning and there’s no in‑house restaurant.

I enjoyed my stay at Luxe, especially the central spot that made getting around a breeze. The room was spotless and in good shape, and the staff were welcoming, helpful, and attentive to our requests. On the downside, the room felt a bit tight, and the window screen was so thin it let in a lot of light and didn’t offer much privacy during the day. Because the hotel sits on the main ECR road, nighttime glare from outside is noticeable. Parking is available but not on site; the lot is crowded and could use better upkeep.

Parking isn’t dedicated – the slots get filled up, and in the mornings or evenings they’ll call to rearrange for others, so you can’t just park or leave on your own. The rooms are small, have a bad smell, the exterior looks cool but there are no extra perks. It’s not worth the price. Plus, it’s not actually in Puducherry; it’s near the French colony but falls under Tamilnadu.
