The cabin was cozy and far from city buzz; I stayed one night and would come back if possible. It sits next to the lake, literally 20 m from the water. The landlady wasn’t there during my stay, but everything was ready for me, and I appreciated the helpful local tips since it was my first time in Loughrea. For a privately run spot it was extraordinarily clean. Waking up to the morning sun on the room’s window and sipping tea or coffee on the porch is just magical. It’s a simple place, but the landlady’s effort makes it worth it. If I return to the area, I’ll definitely consider the Lakehouse again.

The situation of Lakeside is great Ursula made us feel welcome from when we arrived.Off Street parking was much appreciated as the town is very busy. Recommendations were much appreciated as well lovely place to spend a few days on our travels around Ireland
