The White Hart Hotel

“Staff were friendly, room and bathroom acceptable, bedlinen appalling bed uncomfortable.”

We skipped breakfast, which was a relief since only instant coffee was offered, and the location suited our needs perfectly. However, the bed linen was clearly old, creased, and past its prime—only one pillow had a slip and several had seams that had come apart. I brought my own orthopedic pillow, but my husband had to endure the grubby-looking one, and I captured a photo of it to share.

“Not great”

It was the only place open in Shefford, but the music and noise continued until after 1 am.

The staff were lovely and the hotel was in a very central location.

“Would not stay there again.”

The location was good for where we needed to be, but the room wasn’t as clean as expected, the bed was very old and uncomfortable, and the pub stayed open until 4 am with loud crowds that made sleeping difficult.

“Excellent stay!”

The food was excellent and the room was lovely and clean – we really enjoyed it. The car park was a bit small, though.
