The location was great.

The front desk and staff were clean and nice, but the location was far from the main city, breakfast was a total scam at 70 HKD for the worst breakfast I’ve ever had; the eggs felt plastic‑like, the food smelled horrible, there were not many choices, and it was very cheap.

The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. No water was provided at all during the stay; you have to buy it outside. No bathroom accessories were given—soap had to be bought elsewhere, only shower gel and shampoo were available. The room had no desk as shown in the picture, so if you need to work you must use your luggage as a desk. The rooms were very small, making it hard to arrange luggage. No international breakfast was offered. No kids’ breakfast, and when I complained they told me to add sugar to the meal if the kids didn’t like it, giving a very harsh response. No omelettes at breakfast, only eggplant. Breakfast choices were very limited. The gym was tiny with very few machines, some of which were broken.

The staff were fine. There was no hot water—had to keep the tap running for at least 15 minutes and it still wasn’t hot. No air‑conditioning, so my family sweated all night during the summer stay. The bed was uncomfortable and caused back pain.
