The breakfast was great and the location was amazing, but the doors to the rooms were leaky and poorly sealed.

Staying at Wersal, the reception staff, especially Ms. Katarzyna, treated us with the highest level of service from the start; she was very communicative, friendly, eloquent, and cultured. We managed a room change without any hassle, moving from the 3rd floor room that was unbearably loud with some noisy equipment, making the stay in that room impossible to endure. The breakfasts were delicious, with a surprising variety and quantity of dishes, good coffee and pastries, all replenished regularly. The service was very pleasant. The large restaurant served breakfast. The resort is located in an area we have liked to rent accommodation in for over 30 years. I think if we can snag a good price deal like this time, we’ll return again. Despite a few drawbacks, the stay was very successful and the property is recommended. The parking price is a downside; I know it’s standard in hotels and someone might say if the room price were higher and parking free it would be okay, but that’s not entirely true because there are pensions or apartments in Zakopane (also at the level of Wersal or better) where the lodging price is comparable and parking is free, especially since the parking is on resort grounds. The room had enough space for a pillow change, but some bathroom items need repair or renewal. The views from the room to the resort balconies of Bachleda (photos) are not mountain views, so don’t expect that at Wersal.
