“A lovely comfortable hotel in a great setting with a memorably good breakfast.”

The property is simple but comfortable and historic with a lot of interest to explore. The welcome was warm and my room was comfortable with everything that I needed including hot water on demand. The location is very good with easy access to the central part of town which is quite commercialised so it was good to be in a quiet setting on the outskirts a short distance away. Unlike many places in Ecuador such as the old town in Quito the central parts of town offer a wide variety of restaurants and bars. Of particular note was the really excellent breakfast in a lovely setting and with a good choice of four options. Having a breakfast choice is also unusual in Ecuador. The breakfast was one of the very best I have had during two weeks in the country with a very friendly and attentive service, well presented food and two offerings of additional coffee. I really loved this place, I would certainly stay again and I can recommend it to others. PS the friendly but restrained welcome from Leica the dog and her companion was also much appreciated by a dog lover like me. Nothing

The hotel is a bit out of the way, which makes it quieter, but the bathroom has a wall opening that leads into the room.

“Charming Hostal with artistic rooms”

This spot has charm and personality, comfy beds, and an amazing breakfast. It’s a short walk to Centro Banos and many restaurants, and it’s also close to the thermal hot springs.

“Sweet little property right on the edge of the historic center.”

It’s within easy walking distance of the city centre and the bus terminal. We only stayed one night, so we didn’t get to fully soak up the vibe, but we enjoyed our quick visit. The art was a fun addition, as was the courtyard. It’s still a bit noisy even though it’s off the main streets, and we were there on a Friday night.

“Fue una estancia agradable pero elegiría otra habitación para otra ocasión”

The hostel staff were friendly and the place was quiet, perfect for resting and not too far from the centre. It was clear the building was old, with some floorboards sagging and making noise. The curtains didn’t block enough light, so street light flooded the room at night.
