“Sad place, avoid if you have some expectations”

We booked by mistake, thinking it’s other hotel. They gave us their best room I believe, it was relatively clean and comfortable, sleeping was relaxed. Lovely balcony with mountain and garden view (sad garden, but beautiful huge flourishing bougainvillea at each site of the balcony). Fridge was missing, but after complaining they delivered in a minute a minibar that was working great. Staff were great to us, receptionists, cleaners, all guys around were very polite and helpful, thanks! Location is good, basically in the middle of Naama bay center, but above with lots of dangerous dirty stairs to climb. The guests are mainly locals. I would say it was the worst hotel I ever visited, but the experience wasn’t bad thanks to the efforts of the staff. It’s a huge resort type hotel with great opportunity to be amazing place, but sadly it’s abandoned and poorly managed. I feel for the workers there as they do their best with limited (more non- existent) tools. Cleaners cart had just some diluted cleaning product and dirty rags. Food is not eatable, even for local standards is bad. The chefs are making wonders to deliver some meals out of nothing. I thought well, I will have just eggs for breakfast, but there are no boiled eggs, just omelette made with 1:10 grayish mix of egg:water/milk. Beach- far away sandy beach, dirty oily muddy sea as the yachts and boats are with u on the beach. The biggest joke- we arrived at the beach at 9am, at 12.30 they kicked us out to free space for other guests 🤣 As I said very bad management, may be for local standards is ok, having vacation at top location for cheap, but actually it’s not cheap as for similar price u can book much better hotels. I have read some very rude responses of the hotel to a negative reviews, it represents the level of management sadly…
