“Bungaló agradable en Dieng”

The staff at the accommodation were very friendly. They also run a great specialty coffee shop downstairs. The bungalow is fairly new and cozy. We attended the Dieng Festival, which was fascinating, with the town overflowing with visitors. There aren’t many breakfast options nearby. The accommodation is well positioned relative to the nighttime concert stage of the festival, but not as close to the registration tents and the main stage (Arjuna).

The room and bathroom are clean, the hot water is great, there’s a mini‑kitchen with a fridge, the drinking water is safe thanks to the dispenser, and it’s very close to Pandawa field—just cross the street.

Three cabins sit atop a building on the main road, and the traffic noise was noticeable. Each cabin had three double beds, but only a two‑person sofa and two stools were available, and there was no table for meals. It was acceptable, yet the price felt high for what was offered. The receptionist was one of the few Indonesians we encountered who was unwelcoming.

The bed was comfortable and the location was great, close to Arjuna Temple and Sikidang Crater, with a nice view of the village from above. The shower, however, lacked strong water pressure.
