New Royal Inn

The price was excellent, the sky train is a ten‑minute walk downhill, and there’s a bus back uphill from the train if you’ve had a long day walking. The staff were lovely and the rooms were fine. The TV had every channel imaginable. It could have used some bedside lamps.

The staff were on point from the first email right through checkout—always friendly and ready to help. The hotel feels brand‑new and everything was spotless. I really can’t think of any downside.

“They cancelled my 4 night stay mere hours before check-in. They informed me they had quadruple booked the room. Yikes”

I didn’t get a chance to see what the place offers, so I can’t really comment on it.

Great location and a price that makes sense, plus the front desk was quick and courteous. The room’s layout, however, makes the TV hard to see from some spots when the room is full. Otherwise the service was pleasant.

The spot was tidy, easy to get to and there’s parking right out front. The only odd thing was spotting a tiny bug crawling on the floor once, but otherwise it stayed clean.
