The cottage was very cosy and small, yet it never felt cramped thanks to the owner’s space‑efficient furnishings that still feel homely. The bed was comfy, heating was good, and it had everything needed for a short stay. A full‑length mirror somewhere might be handy, but its absence doesn’t detract from the experience.

The place was a warm and cozy refuge from the heavy rain, surrounded by beautiful scenery, comfortable, and stocked with every convenience we needed for an overnight stay, all within walking distance of bars, restaurants, and other facilities.

The cabin was the cutest, packed with quirky touches, but even though it’s close to the main homestead, we never saw anyone there; a friendly greeting would have been nice.
