“Good location, good pub food”

The location was great, but the shower water didn’t run well.

I only stayed one night because a funeral was happening nearby; the staff were friendly and the facilities were clean and very comfortable.

The hotel’s proximity to Duxford airfield was convenient, the staff were friendly and the food at dinner and breakfast was lovely, and there was free on‑site parking in a charming small village setting; however, the room could have been a bit cleaner, an empty tissue box and a damaged fan left in the room made it feel less than perfect.

“Nice staff. Accommodation needed attention and time spent on it”

The hotel was close to many visitor attractions, the sheets were clean and crisp, and the staff were friendly; but the shower leaked badly into the bathroom, the grouting was orange and brown instead of cream, the toilet seat wasn’t fitted properly, and the skirting boards and headboard needed dusting.

“Great place for a stopover. Food was delicious!”

The location was lovely and the staff were very friendly, but there was a little dust under the bed and many cobwebs in the rafters of the room.
