We stayed for three nights and found the place super comfy. The spot is perfect, just a 10‑minute walk to the centro storico. Gaia was very welcoming and gave us loads of local shop and eatery tips (just double‑check because some are closed in winter). Licia and the owner were very helpful—she lives next door, so she’s always around if you need anything, like getting back in after checking out and realizing you left keys inside or forgot something. The apartment is surprisingly roomy, always warm, and overall very cozy. The sofa bed worked well thanks to a good mattress topper. The kitchen is fully stocked: big selection of cakes, croissants, dry bread, jams, Nutella, teas, and Nespresso pods for breakfast, plus basic oil and salt in the cupboard if you want to cook. Good gas stove, microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, and manual milk frother. Plenty of hot water for showers. Lots of thoughtful touches make it feel very homely. The only thing to note is the lift only goes to the fourth floor, so you’ll have to climb the last set of stairs—keep that in mind if you have mobility issues or can’t lug a suitcase up a flight.
