The plumbing broke earlier that day, but we weren’t told until we arrived late in the evening; we had to wait more than 40 minutes for someone to explain that we couldn’t check in because there was no water. It’s past 11 pm now and we’re scrambling to find a place for the weekend. If we’d known about the problem sooner, we could have arranged something else while still on the road.

“Worse experience ever.”

I checked in at 2 pm and was told I would receive my key for room 20, but when I returned that night after they had already taken my payment, no one was in the office. I called the number provided five times before a man answered and said we didn’t have any rooms and kept calling. I made 45 more calls. I had already paid. Another family, who had been booked for two rooms, started calling; finally a man emerged from the dark and apologized, saying he had forgotten I was coming, that the hotel was over‑booked, and that he needed to speak with the manager. He returned and told the other family to contact whoever they booked through for a refund, and told me that someone had checked out of room 20 and he just needed to clean it. By that time it was between 12 am and 1:30 am. His idea of cleaning was putting new sheets and covers on. The room was absolutely filthy, with cockroaches everywhere. We couldn’t even bring our bags in. If I had been closer to home, I would have driven back, but I was four and a half hours away. In short, don’t stay here; it’s not worth your money or time.

“Gross”

Everything was terrible. The room was dirty, smelled like roaches, the beds were dirty and not the size you pay for.

They told me the place was over‑booked and advised me to call to get a refund. The place was messy, unprofessional, and disorganized.
