Hotel La Porte de la Matawinie -Hôtel Matha

The lady at reception gave a very warm welcome and made sure we were comfortable; she is very kind. We had three rooms side by side for a family event and could gather in one room to chat late in the evening, giving us plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable. Even though the hotel isn’t new, all the equipment is there and it’s very clean.

The location is very convenient, right next to a gas station with a breakfast-serving restaurant and a convenience store, and a brewery just across the hotel. The hotel itself is older and simple, but it was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. I would recommend it to anyone passing through the area looking for a practical, affordable place to spend the night. I didn’t find anything I disliked; the hotel met my expectations, and considering the price, location, and purpose of our visit, I was satisfied with the overall experience.
