“DIESES HOTEL BRAUCHT DRINGEND HIGYIENE MASSNAHMEN !!!”
I discovered a black‑hair strand in the Thai breakfast buffet on the very first morning, which immediately signalled a serious hygiene issue. The room was infested with poisonous insects or ticks, leaving my skin itching all night, and my five‑year‑old daughter was stung by a toxic bug in our seventh‑floor room, causing a swollen foot that forced an emergency visit to the Klaeng hospital for a four‑day antibiotic course. After just one night we abandoned the place and booked a five‑star hotel; although the manager showed up when we tried to check out, she dismissed my concerns about possible ticks, even though we and three other families had paid for five nights and left after a single night. The reception staff and the two gentlemen at the breakfast restaurant were very friendly, but that doesn’t matter when cleanliness is absent. The sea‑front room was tiny, its balcony cramped with part of the air‑conditioner motor bolted to the floor, which generated heat when the unit ran, and there were no chairs or table, making it far from comfortable.
