(Notes on the Coffee Pot Hotel because of an upgrade) The hotel is magnificent, very clean and well equipped, with a beautiful and spacious room, charming and helpful staff, and good tips for activities around the lake. The meals (breakfast and dinner) at the hotel restaurant are good.

“Perfect 👌”

I originally booked the second accommodation of Mutolele Coffee Pot outside Kisoro, but it was switched to the hotel in Kisoro town, which turned out to be a great upgrade. The hotel has everything a classic European would need, and the price‑performance ratio is very good. The food is excellent, the beds are comfortable, and both the bathroom and room are spacious. The staff is extremely friendly, and the owner/manager goes out of their way to make you feel really comfortable. We will definitely choose this hotel again.

“Excellent stay with great hospitality from all staff members.”

We ended up staying at their hotel in Kisoro town, and it was excellent—very clean, modern, and with wonderful staff members. They light a fire in the restaurant in the evening, making it a cozy spot to sit and play board games. A big thanks to manager Joseph, who helped us with everything we needed. Everything was great!

The location was fantastic, the rooms were spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional, plus the food was delicious—I would recommend this place wholeheartedly.

“Beautiful garden tucked away from the busy streets of Kisoro”

I had a wonderful one-night stay at this charming retreat after our thrilling gorilla trekking experience. The property is about an hour's drive from Rushaga, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a day of trekking. The beautifully maintained gardens, which have been lovingly tended to by the owner's grandmother for an impressive 50 years, are a true delight.
