“Fin stuga, funkar bra för 1-2 nätter”

We stayed in a cabin at Hållsvikens Gård. The cabin was nice and tidy, with a well-equipped kitchen and parking right outside. The beds were comfortable, and the area was quiet—only other guests in the village could be heard. A short walk takes you to the water, where you can also enjoy a sauna (we didn’t try it). The grounds are full of cherry trees and wild strawberries. The last stretch of the road to the cabins—about 200 m of narrow gravel—can be tight for two cars, but it’s a brief section. Beyond the walk to the water, there isn’t much to do locally; you’ll need a car to shop or dine.

The beds were comfortable, the location unique, and the view lovely, giving that authentic Swedish cottage vibe. A wasp nest right in front of the door slightly dampened the experience, the furnishings were old, and the bathroom was small.

The location was cozy with plenty of hiking options, the house was large with ample space, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The host was helpful, and the price included dogs regardless of how many. It was quiet and calm, allowing a good night's sleep on good beds. The washing machine was so noisy that conversations in the adjacent room were impossible; the whole house was very loud, and there was poor lighting and a lack of bedside tables on the first floor.

“Supernöjda”

A beautiful house with comfortable beds and plenty of space for all of us—11 people at the dining table, everything very thoughtful and lovely.
