Parking was right outside, and the property was spotless. The bed was so comfortable I could have stayed longer. The area and house were right on the sea front, and the locals at the nearby pub were friendly. The shower head should be handheld instead of fixed, and a comfy chair by the bedroom window would replace the tiny stool at the mirrored table.

I loved everything. It was my second visit, and this time I booked a sea‑view room. As before, the owner was lovely and everything ran smoothly during our three‑day stay. I especially liked the small fridge and the fresh milk provided for tea. The wooden staircase is a bit steep, but it has a fully functional handrail, which my elderly mother managed fine—just good to know in advance.

All rooms were sold out in Inverness, so we ended up at this guesthouse. The location was fantastic, right out to the water, in a small cozy town. The host was sweet and helped with restaurant reservations, and gave tips about the city and surrounding area. The rooms and bathrooms were very large and beautifully authentic, and the dining area had a great atmosphere.
