The place is dated but well maintained. It has a pool that we didn’t visit and a nice garden. The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom too. The center of the small town is reachable by a short walk. The breakfast, in short, was unacceptable.

A cute wooden hotel with parking in the green heart of the beautiful city of Heviz, near the largest thermal lake in Europe, where I spent a special afternoon. The room was large and comfortable with a balcony. I hope to return again to use the pool and visit Lake Balaton, which is only a few kilometres away.

The hotel has a good quiet location, the staff is friendly, the breakfast offers a sufficient selection, and the room’s old‑fashioned pocket design was pleasing.

The location is great and peaceful, and the breakfasts are decent. The pool has very clean, refreshing water, and there’s a full‑day infrared sauna available. However, the surroundings of the hotel need tidying up, and the kitchen could use more equipment. Since my last visit about eight years ago, the property has clearly aged. The salt cave is closed, and the jacuzzi is only partially functional.
