The view from both the room and the restaurant is stunning, and the staff is amazing and super nice. Nothing else! It was just perfect.

The room was ordinary, but you could see the bridge from it, a very nice view. There was a welcome drink and delicious breakfast, and you could eat at the café below the bedroom. The staff kept checking if everything was okay and what you needed, and they offered a tuk‑tuk to the city. The pillow covers and bed sheets seemed dirty, so I got bitten by a mosquito on my neck while sleeping.

The view of the 9 Arches Bridge was nice. Unfortunately, the room shown in the listing was not the one we stayed in. The owner said the pictured hut had been demolished; our hut lacked the balcony and bathroom shown, and overall did not match the advertised accommodation. Because the place is very remote, one owner kindly offered a free tuk‑tuk ride to the city, but his colleague later demanded 1,700 LKR, far above the local rate. After insisting and re‑contacting the owner, the ride was finally free. The Wi‑Fi also didn't work during our stay. Additionally, many dogs roam nearby; at night they sometimes fight and bark loudly, which can be unsettling if you don't realize they're dogs. Overall, the accommodation fell short of the expectations set by the photos and description.
