Very good location. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was helpful. There were some broken glass parts on the floor when we entered the room. Also when we asked to clean, the cleaning was not that good

The location is excellent, close to many restaurants and sights. The desk staff barely spoke to us.

Nothing good, except for the beautiful view of a famous Art Nouveau building and the central location. The staff are not at all friendly or helpful. The room is not up to 4‑star standards for the price, with poor cleanliness and neglect. The linens are short and the pillows are small and uncomfortable. Chairs and carpet are stained. The windows are damaged. Breakfast is barely passable. On the second night, when I turned on the bathroom tap, brown water flowed. We passed by the reception without the staff telling us anything. The next morning, when we asked for an explanation, they admitted a plumbing problem (a burst pipe) but said the incident was resolved. They didn’t follow up on our complaints or offer any compensation for the inconvenience or the risk posed by the contaminated water. Even the Booking support couldn’t get the hotel to acknowledge the issue.

The hotel’s great spot in the center of Riga is its only good point; the rest of the services are disappointing. It markets itself as a 4‑star hotel but really feels like a 2.5‑star place. The staff are not friendly at all, only offering a polite greeting. The worst part is the sheets and beds: they use sheets without elastic that don’t fit the mattress, and they’re too small, so the bed falls apart every night. Cleaning is also lacking. Above all, it feels like a scam to claim 4 stars; there’s no tea or coffee station in the room, no work area, and other amenities that 4‑star hotels normally have.
