“Easy access for a quick stop in Foggia”

Property was clean, bedroom was modern, bathroom was exceptionally large (2 rooms), automatic coffee dispensing machine on the premises. Tea kettle / tea in the bedroom. TV in bedroom. Everything is remote. Pick up the keys from a local bar. When finished put the key into a particular slot holder, so the cleaning staff know you are out. 24 hour access. The bar (close by) that you pick the keys up from has great food. Street parking is close by. Cleaning staff that I met were friendly. BREAKFAST: Breakfast included” : one coffee/drink (but not juice) and one croissant. This is the skimpiest “free breakfast included” breakfast that I encountered in my Italian travels this time (after 15 different accommodations)—but it was good. PARKING: street parking is right outside the door to the apartment (good) but neighbourhood is a little sketchy at night. OK In the day. We parked close to the intersecting main street under a lamp and took everything out of the car (including trunk). In the morning, however, it was fine. NEIGHBORHOOD: active in the day but in the evening, there are virtually no women around— only men. A single woman traveler might feel a bit uncomfortable. There is really not much to do in the evening anyway…many stores are closed. Two homeless men were asleep in the entrances of the adjoining apartment beside this one

“Pessimo”

The location was good. We didn’t like it because I had to pay a cleaning fee for my dog. Moreover, only after I left the dog in the room was I told I couldn’t leave the dog in the room unless someone was there. I don’t think it’s fair to accept pets and not communicate that the dog can’t be left. I had a wedding and had to pay a dog sitter to keep my dog, which never happened. The shower didn’t work. I mentioned it and it wasn’t fixed. Breakfast was at a bakery but there were no croissants, which was disappointing. I stayed at a bed and breakfast in Foggia before, but never like this. I would ask for a refund; I paid for three days of a dog fee but the rooms were not even suitable, so I should request a refund.

“Apartmennt yes, Foggia no”

The place was clean and secure. Breakfast was served at a quirky bar across the street; a coffee and a croissant, and for the price (100 euros for two people for two nights…) one can’t complain. I can’t imagine the host making any profit.

It’s close enough to the train station and the room was very nice. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon and randomly found my room keys at a nearby bakery where I asked for information because the building door was closed and there was no one to tell me how to access the B&B room. By the way, breakfast is offered at the bakery, with no gluten‑free options, so my breakfast was an espresso and a bottle of water.

Everything was more or less normal. The breakfast at the affiliated bar was the only downside.
