“A great stopover and very kind host”

We stayed in the attic room and it was comfortable, even though the heat wave made it sweltering at first; the host handed us a few fans which kept us cool. The garden is lovely and the place is dead quiet, and the shared facilities work well for a bigger group. Only downside was finding the house after dark – the lane between two houses on Main Street is hard to spot and better signs would help.

The place had everything we could ask for and the host was super friendly, taking the time to explain all the details. With the Net and Albert canals just around the corner, a one‑hour bike ride gets you into Antwerp, and both Duffel and Lier centres are within easy reach. I'd definitely book again.

“Anders dan verwacht….., jammer”

The garden is the only real highlight here, but the interior feels cramped and a little rundown. It could use a proper tidy‑up.
