I had a great time at this pension – definitely worth a visit. The staff were very friendly, the kitchen was excellent and we ate wonderfully; we’ll definitely come back.

We really appreciated the warm welcome—staff were smiling and very considerate; the small, quiet, charming hotel offered a very comfortable balcony room for a family of four, a full breakfast and a traditional on‑site restaurant, though a minor drawback is that you need to speak German because no one speaks French.

“Parfait ! :)”

The place was very nice, clean, cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served until 10 am. The location is convenient, just a 10‑minute walk from Titisee. The pillows were a bit soft.

I recommend Gasthof & Pension Steppacher to anyone seeking a comfortable, clean and friendly place while exploring the Black Forest. The staff were exceptional, the location perfect, and the rooms beautiful. Angela greeted us warmly upon arrival and escorted us to our spacious family room; the balcony was also wonderful. The room and the hotel itself were spotless and tidy. The care put into running the business over the years shows, and the staff take pride in the hotel. Breakfast each morning was excellent and always served with a smile. The hotel sits in a lovely village close to many Black Forest attractions, making it ideal for us. We will definitely return! Thank you, Angela, for a wonderful stay!

The accommodation was very nicely furnished and very clean. The owners were very friendly. The only thing I noticed was that the rooms were relatively dark because the windows are very small.
