The hosts were friendly and the homestay felt like family; the quiet neighborhood is 20‑30 minutes from Ubud by scooter. The mattress was hard and the room didn’t match the photos. Breakfast was good but a bit light. The pool area was poorly maintained, with scattered furniture, trash, and tools—definitely not what the pictures showed.
