“Awful”
We booked a Deluxe Room with Shower at High Barn expecting a quiet night before a long day at Goodwood Revival, but the host moved us to a self‑catering apartment without explanation, then two days before arrival told us we’d be back in the original room; the phone number they gave was invalid, we were rushed straight to our room without a tour of the dining area, and only three earl‑grey teabags were in the bedroom—when I asked for regular tea, the host gave me just two, and I had to ask again later that evening. We showered and tried to sleep early, but a loud female voice from downstairs kept us awake for an hour; I went down to confront a girl in a hoodie and earphones who was loudly using a computer—she lowered her volume but we could still hear her for another hour. No host was present to address the issue, and later a dog barked, even though the house rules explicitly forbid pets. We had to leave early the next morning and never returned.
