A classic hotel from 1907 with a lovely garden right on the DRC border. The room was simple and clean, the restaurant was good, and the staff were helpful. Nothing to add.

The location was decent, and the vibe was fine. The staff tried to slot me into the worst room possible, and I still wonder why; I was moved to a different room after I had already declined the first one offered. There was no hot water, and I found it odd that they insisted on payment immediately upon arrival.

Nothing positive. The cleaning and overall condition of the hotel were lacking.

Very clean and close to Lake Kivu, but the walls were poorly maintained and the electrical sockets were old.

The staff spoke English, the rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was tasty.
