The DoubleTree by Hilton Charleston Mount Pleasant hotel is situated southwest of Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre, near Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum, and Shipyard Park, with easy access to I-526 and guests-17. Beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches are 10 minutes away, and downtown Charleston attractions, including the aquarium and historic city market, are less than 20 minutes away.

I paid $700 for two nights with no breakfast, and water was supposed to be free, but when I asked for more than two bottles at night for the two of us, I was told to come back later, which was annoying since I just wanted to sleep.

The place was convenient, but the king‑size bed required a ladder to climb, and the toilet looked like it was from a school model; Hilton should step up their game.

The spot was convenient and the bed was solid, which suited my visit, but the bathroom layout felt odd and there was no water in the room; the breakfast wasn’t continental, and paying $15 per person felt a bit steep for what was offered.
