The breakfast was great, the reception staff were friendly, and parking was outside, spacious and CCTV‑protected, so no need to crawl through tight underground lots. At night, a loud air‑conditioner ran, but the front desk helped me turn it off at 4 am, and after about an hour the noise started again even though there was no heat—summer heat was long over.

Getting there from the motorway was easy and dogs were allowed, and the breakfast was excellent. It was odd that dogs weren’t permitted in the breakfast area; we could sit in the bar right next to it, which was open‑plan, but there were no proper tables for eating there.

The staff were nice and the room was pretty, but there was no German TV. It’s not a big deal now, but after a long drive back from Spain, a little downtime before the TV would have been nice.
