Hôtel Relais Saint Jacques Paris

I found the place pretty nice for a stay in Paris, though the room was small but spotless. The location was a bit too far from the train station, about a 12‑15 minute walk, and we didn’t receive a view or balcony room as promised.

The staff were lovely, the room was clean and of a good size, and the tea and coffee facilities with a biscuit were a nice touch, though the decor felt a little tired.

“Very comfortable bed, excellent shower, good location and staff helpful”

Breakfast was poor with little variety; when I arrived 45 minutes before the breakfast hour ended there was no yoghurt, very little fresh fruit, and no capsules for strong coffee. When I mentioned it to staff, they said the order hadn’t arrived. The breakfast and the low‑quality coffee capsules in the room were disappointing.

The décor and location were great, but the sleeping cushions were uncomfortable, and having to pay a €50 deposit/minibar fee was a downside.
