We booked on short notice for four days and wholeheartedly recommend this vacation rental. Communication before arrival was pleasant, and at check‑in we were greeted by Mr Schwarz. The apartment was spotless and had everything needed for a short stay – towels, kitchen equipment, filter pods, spices, etc. It would have been nicer if the dishes matched better; otherwise it feels like a haphazard mix. The balcony is generous for two people, the bathroom a bit tight (at least in our unit – we stayed again the following weekend in the upper unit and the size was comfortable). The beds were comfortable for us, only the pillows were very thin, but that’s a very individual preference. The location is completely quiet and ideal for hikes – in Bayerisch Eisenstein there are restaurants and a small shop, and in Zelezna Ruda (2 km over the border) there are grocery stores with everything needed for self‑sufficiency.

The apartment was very clean with a nice balcony, and the kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was lovely, and the place was very quiet. The bus stop is right behind the house, and we were even picked up from the train station upon arrival. Walking down to the centre takes about 15–20 minutes. Great hiking options from the house or via train or bus. We’ll definitely come back!

Good, quiet location with simple but sufficient amenities. Unfortunately, there was no oven.
