The rooms were awful; they were so bad we couldn’t sleep or spend time there, they were unclean and smelled terrible, so we had to leave and find another hotel on our own at short notice. We told the hotel about the poor condition and they did nothing to fix it or offer a refund; they refused any help. Anyone reading this should think twice before staying at Sandy Lodge.

The staff were really riendly and helpful throughout my stay. Location for the hotel was good and not far from the town centre. I would stay again if I was paying what I paid for my room. The room was very basis but was expected for what I paid for the room. Pressure on the shower was not great but worked and I was not keen on the slide door on the bathroom
