The host Pascal was very sociable, chatting with us about our plans every morning at breakfast and making sure we had everything we might need; the breakfast tasted good. Nothing else comes to mind.

We liked the quiet of the place, Pascal's availability and courtesy, and the great breakfast he served each morning. We also appreciated being able to use the nice kitchen for our dinners after tiring motorcycle rides, though the location was a bit isolated.

The spot between Castellane and Palud-sur-Verdon is spot‑on for every kind of activity, and the breathtaking view makes the slightly tougher climb (tête d’épingles and single‑rope) worth it; Pascal is a considerate and very friendly host.
